Published in 1937, is a seminal self-help book that has sold over 100 million copies worldwide. Inspired by steel magnate Andrew Carnegie, Hill spent over 20 years interviewing more than 500 successful individuals, including Thomas Edison and Henry Ford, to uncover the principles of success. Despite being written during the Great Depression, its timeless principles of positive thinking, desire, and faith have kept it popular across generations. The book introduces the “mastermind group” concept, emphasizing the power of collective support and inspiration.
What makes “Think and Grow Rich” unique is its philosophical approach, focusing on the mindset needed for success rather than just practical steps. law of attraction & manifestation
“Ask and It Is Given: Learning to Manifest Your Desires” by Abraham Hicks
I personally don’t think there is a better book on the subject of manifesting your desires and the Law of Attraction than this one. As a matter of fact, many of the authors who later wrote on the subject have taken many of their teachings from this book.
This book is really like a bible that needs to be read again and again, and what I truly love about this book is that it includes so many powerful tools that one can use to apply the teachings. While so many other Law of Attraction books miss many things such as practicality, this book is more like a spiritual-scientific formula with precise guidance and techniques to apply it. I can’t recommend it enough!
Not only is this book about manifesting your external desires, but it’s also a spiritually uplifting book and very beautifully shows you the methods to move from lower moods, negative thoughts, and emotions such as depression, fear, etc., to higher moods like joy, gratitude, and love, as a way of raising your vibration and ascending spiritually as well.

Spiritual books
Bhagavad Gita
More than a book, rather a unique scripture that covers every single approach that exists toward achiving freedom and enlightenment. Of course not a book that can be fully understood by simple reading, so you need to study it for life, contemplate on it and get help of various interperetations by great teachers to understand it better. I won’t say this book is for begginers on the spirirtual path but reading it is still good.
I like the English translation by Eknath Eswaran, it’s very clear one.

Open-minded spiritual seekers who are in search of truth and self-realization. It’s not a book just for having fun reading it at all; it’s for people who are willing to let universal intelligence shake and awaken them!
The Power of Now: A Guide to Spiritual Enlightenment” by Eckhart Tolle
One of the very famous books discusses the same Buddhist, Zen, and Vedantic ideas of living in the present and finding who you are. The book is really beyond just a philosophical writing, and more of a living teacher for those who are ready and open. It can really give you glimpses of enlightenment. Whether you know nothing about spirituality or you know a lot, this book will elevate you to a higher experience of self-realization.
The core message of the book is that living in the “now” is the truest path to happiness and enlightenment. Tolle emphasizes the importance of mindfulness and the recognition of the “inner self” beyond the mind and ego. He discusses how most people’s minds are constantly occupied with thoughts of the past or future, which causes unnecessary stress and prevents them from experiencing true joy.
Tolle’s teachings are rooted in a variety of spiritual traditions, yet they are presented in a way that is accessible to a broad audience. The book includes practical exercises to help readers achieve mindfulness and inner peace. Through these exercises, Tolle guides readers to break free from their overactive minds and connect with their true essence.

Spirirtual Biographies & Stories
I think one of the best and most inspiring ways to learn more about anything, especially spirituality, is to read about the lives and experiences of others. Especially for beginners, here are some books that have inspired me a lot, and I highly value them. These are not meant merely for amusement but to get inspired to grow on the spiritual path.
Way of the Peaceful Warrior: A Book That Changes Lives – by Dan Millman
Dan Millman, in my opinion, is one of the wisest and most authentic spiritual teachers in the West. In this book, he narrates the story of his own spiritual progress and meeting with his Guru, which takes him on years of inner and outer journeys of breaking his false identity (ego) and making him a joyful and wise person. Not only does this book teach us a lot of spiritual and life wisdom, but it’s also a fascinating and hypnotic story that one falls in love with.
“When Dan Millman was a young man, he expected that hard work would eventually bring a life of comfort, wisdom, and happiness. Yet, despite his many successes, he was haunted by the feeling that something was missing. Awakened by dark dreams one night, Dan found himself at a gas station with an old man named Socrates, and his world was changed forever. Guided by this eccentric old warrior, and inspired by a young woman named Joy, Dan began a spiritual odyssey into realms of light and shadow, romance and mystery, toward a final confrontation that would deliver or destroy him.”

Really anoyone, from the begginer on the path of self-discovery to those who have been on the path for years, the book is condensed with a lot of deep wisdom and I have personally read this book many times. I especially like his Audiobook version because I experience the energy of his words in a more realisitc way!
The very famous “Autobiography of a Yogi” by Paramahamsa Yogananda
One of the first enlightened Yogis who traveled to the West and made a spiritual revolution. Probably the most loved Yogic story-style book that has been praised by many famous people like Steve Jobs, Elvis Presley, and more.
The author takes you on a long spiritual journey from his birth to meeting his own Guru and many other saints, acquiring mystical experiences and so on. One of the first books to have publicly talked about the Yogic Science of Kriya Yoga, which motivated many people to walk on this path.
The only problem I’ve seen with many seekers is that when they read the book, sometimes they get overexcited and think that Kriya Yoga is the best path and just because of that, it’s going to make them enlightened. Well, it’s not that simple. First of all, there are many equally powerful paths. Secondly, in Yoga, finding a true Guru is way more important than what you practice. Also, this is the first book that talked about a Christ-like immortal Yogi called “Mahavatar Babaji” and people got all kinds of weird ideas about it. Unfortunately, many fake Gurus claimed to have met Babaji and fooled millions of people under his name.
Just giving you a heads up! Otherwise, it’s probably the most fascinating Yogic autobiography ever!

Living with the Himalayan Masters
Many have read Autobiography of a Yogi. This is another similar book by Swami Rama, one of the yogic masters who traveled to the West and transformed a lot of people throuh the teachigns of ancient Yogic wisdom. It gives so many valuable lessons on the path of spirituality and self-discovery, including many interesting stories.
These stories are filled with lessons on meditation, the power of the mind, the nature of reality, and the path to self-realization. Through his vivid and often mystical anecdotes, Swami Rama introduces readers to the esoteric and practical aspects of the yogic tradition.
and personal experiences of meeting various yogic masters, as well as many of the author’s personal challenges in material and spiritual life, which are inspiring. If you liked Autobiography of a Yogi, It’s very likley that you’ll love this title as well.
